Our star, the gravitational anchor of the Solar System, wouldn’t escape this cosmic barrage unscathed. The Sun’s outer layers \u2013 the corona, chromosphere<\/a>, and photosphere \u2013 would be massively disrupted and superheated by the incoming wave of energy.
